My wife and I purchased this dishwasher about 2 months ago see previous rating after having to replace two dishwashers WHAT A DREAM TO HAVE ONE THAT FINALLY WORKS AS ADVERTISED.
Quiet ... can only hear if you are standing next to it.
Dry functions ...have had no problems even with water spots.
Steam Function is a very good option as well the third rack and adjustable racks.
Have used Whirpool most expensive appliances If this dishwasher continues to work as good as it does now I will be a LG customer for my next appliance.

I ordered the dishwasher January 28th from my local Home Depot. My appliance was delivered February 18th. My contractor installed my brand new dishwasher February 25th. When went to power the dishwasher on the control pages would not work. After several calls to LG customer service and Home Depot I had to get corporate involved. Finally 3 weeks later a technician was sent to my home. He immediately knew what the problem was. He installed new buttons in the control panel and problem solved. The product works great. LG service is horrendous

Our dishwasher other brand decided to stop working after owning LG products in the past we chose LG as our replacement brand. After doing my own independent research it was a no brainer. The LG dishwasher DW LDTS5552S was without a doubt the right choice. We are now LG customers for life other brands wish they were LG.

Happy with the purchase so far. Easy to load and kinda neat having the 3rd rack though I might remove the silverware rack for more clearance in the second rack. The wifi is unexpectedly helpful its weird getting a buzz from my watch that the dishes are done but pretty cool.

This was our second lg dishwasher-first was November last year.That one didnt work great from day 1. Replaced just recently with this one and it lasted less than a week. Began leaking through the bottom had to put a towel on the floor to catch the water. Needless to say that is also gone and replaced with a new and different brand.

Dishwasher was purchased a month ago and installed by a lowes contractor. We found that the machine performed as advertised. When dishwasher is in operation you can barely hear it even when standing next to it. It cleans exceptionally well and dries the dishes without any issues...if you read the operators manual and follow the directions. We also love the three rack design and adjustable racks as well as the steam feature.

I bought a dishwasher model number ldts5552s on December of 2022 I used like 4 times and its giving me a problem there is a code AE does shows on the panel I tried to turn it off but cant i turned off the dishwasher and it turns back on and it shows the same code now I have to till I get a technician here which is going to take like 2 days the machine wont turn off and I dont what to do they keep telling me to wait for the technician so this machine its going to be on for 2 days I had another machine that lasted for 7 years different brand of course but we remodeled the kitchen and we decided to buy I thought a better dishwasher which cost us lot more money. This is a really bad machine I only used maybe 5 times

This is the quietest dishwasher Ive ever heard And it cleans like a beast It was also an easy install. The only critique is the drain hose is a standard 6 footer but the drain on this unit is on the left rear when standing in front. The original it replaced had the drain in the center. This made the drain hose about 8 inches too short. An 8 foot drain hose would have been awesome.
I recommend buying this unit if you are in the market and the price is well below what I would expect given the features

Our LG dishwasher was installed on Dec3 2022. Thuis new model has very poor rack design. It does not clean or dry as our old LG dishwasher. OLD dishwasher was very good. But LG has gone south with the new model. I donot recommend this dishwasher.

I love this dishwasher. It is very quiet and washes the dishes beautifully. The third upper rack is especially useful. Cycles take much longer than for other dishwashers I have had. The one star rating is for warranty service. We had an issue arise that is covered by the factory warranty. The factory warranty service company is terrible. The only telephone contact number is fully automated with NO human contact possible. The service appointment requires someone home over a whole day 8-5. FOUR times they set up a service appointment only to cancel at 11:00 ON THE DAY OF THE SERVICE. Buy LG and you buy a great product with some of the worst factory warranty service around.

So far so good I like that it has the third rack for utensils and other small items. It cleans the dishes very well but the cycles are a bit long but its fine. I do open the door after the cycle a crack which seems to dry the dishes of any water that may have been left behind from the dry cycle. All in all Im happy with this dishwasher and I really like this brand my

At 46 db this washer is plenty quiet. Still experimenting with different cycles to get the best cleaning on the silver ware.

I purchased my LG dishwasher in July. The dishwasher installation was a very easy proccess for DIY. i even set it up with my app for settings and notifications. All was perfect. 6 months afterwards i had a problem draining. I contacted LG support who walked me through some steps to help rectify the issue. It was determined i needed an on site tech. they scheduled the service arrived on time and resolved the issue quickly. The drain hose needed to be replaced. The hose was filled with grease and debris. The tech advised me of great tips of how to preent this occuring in the future which i will definetly do. Thanks LG all good now

Great st cleaning and quiet but I am having trouble starting the dishwasher on anything other Auto wash. Cant figure it out just yet. The instructions say to press start after you close the door. If you have fat fingers forget that. If your counter top is covering the top edge of the door when closed there isnt much room to press that start button. Maybe I need to keep practicing while reading the manual again.

I bought this November 30 delivered December 27. I have had it 2 weeks and now does not have any power what so ever. It does not even turn on. So now I have to wait for LG to fix it. So glad I bought the extended warranty with Home
Depot. I bought 4 appliances for my kitchen. If I could I would return them all.

I bought it back in July. Worked well for a while but stopped about two weeks ago. We have a technician who came 3 times every week. Every time he needed to order another part. He is coming again tomorrow with another part. How many parts need to be replaced for the machine would work again? Maybe its time to replace this machine with a new one? Please check it out and do the right thing asap a while we have a warranty. Thank you

I bought this almost a month ago and I absolutely love it. Ive never owned LG appliances before but as of right now I will never use anything else. This dishwasher is easy to use has some really neat features cleans and dries my dishes better than any dishwasher Ive ever used. Its super quiet you hardly even notice its on.

Currently been without a dishwasher since around Dec 10th. We purchased this in the beginning of November and now have to wait till January 6th for someone to be sent from the company warranty to fix it. As we are a house of 9 people this was a huge inconvenience especially over the holiday when we had family and friends scheduled to come overwe ended up canceling dinner and just ordered Chinese foodit was a good product while it worked but for the money there is no reason to have died after less than 2 months Merry Christmas from LG :/

Our old dishwasher stopped working and we needed another one. We have an LG refrigerator and have been pleased with it so we purchased the dishwasher. The one we selected is Wi-Fi ready and has multiple washing features. You should read the manual and where available look at some videos to learn about all the features prior to using it. It cleans well and is very quiet. We are pleased with the purchase.

We purchased our dishwasher roughly 6 months ago. Overall the dishwasher has been great. Its very aesthetically pleasing super quiet and cleans the dishes well. Only concern is that it recently started giving error messages as though the board is going out. Time will tell if this was a good purchase or not.
